In order to be able to practice in Mexico as a nurse, doctor or technician, Health Department requires any one in such position to be certified by a Mexican school or board, or have their studies from abroad recognized by one, as well as to be registered upon both, Education and Health Departments in Mexico.

Additionally, in the case of people from abroad, in order to work in Mexico in any position, it is necessary to have Mexican citizenship or a working permit, which has to be requested upon Immigration Authorities.
